Our Mission
Our 6-week outdoor learning programme funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, is designed to support Year 7 young people, particularly those who are SEN/neurodivergent, as they transition to secondary school. Through engaging activities in a natural setting, we aim to foster self-care, social confidence, emotional regulation, and resilience. We believe in the power of nature to nurture and empower young minds, providing them with the tools they need to thrive in their new environment.
Our Therapeutic Approaches
Equine Assisted Therapy
Experience the calming presence of horses, which can offer profound social, emotional, and cognitive benefits. The sessions are led by our Equine Assisted Therapy (sometimes referred to as equine therapy) and Equine Assisted Learning specialists to help young people connect with these gentle creatures, promoting grounding and emotional well-being.
Forest School Adventures
Our forest school sessions immerse young participants in the wonders of the natural world. These activities are designed to boost self-esteem, confidence, and a sense of purpose, all while enjoying the great outdoors.
Finding Strength in Nature
Year 7 Young People
A 6-week outdoor learning programme to support young SEN/neurodivergent people through their transition to secondary school.
The programme will help develop self-care, social confidence, emotional regulation and resilience.
